The purpose of this project is to increase capacity and improve safety and operations along State Road (S.R.) 40 from east of County Road (C.R.) 314 to east of C.R. 314A.  The proposed design would widen and reconstruct the roadway to provide two 12-foot-wide lanes in each direction separated by a 40-foot-wide grassed median. Wildlife crossings are provided throughout the project.
