Traffic Advisory: Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 and Pineda Causeway Interchange, October 4 – 8
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement the following overnight ramp closures at Interstate 95 (I-95) and Pineda Causeway (State Road 404) interchange in Brevard County beginning as early as Sunday, October 4.
These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing project.
The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs. Please see below for closure information and detour routes, and please see attached detour maps.
Sunday, October 4, through Tuesday, October 6: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Wednesday, October 7.
- Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) should take the prior exit onto westbound Wickham Road (Exit 191). From there, use the third exit at the roundabout to turn left onto southbound Lake Andrew Drive, and continue south to Pineda Causeway.
Wednesday, October 7, through Thursday, October 8: The on-ramp from Pineda Causeway to southbound I-95 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Friday, October 9.
- Motorists traveling on Pineda Causeway who wish to access southbound I-95 may travel north on Lake Andrew Drive from Pineda Causeway west of the interchange. From there, turn right onto eastbound Wickham Road and proceed east to the southbound I-95 on-ramp.
