Traffic Advisory: Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchanges, September 20 - 25
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement the following overnight ramp closures on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County beginning as early as Sunday, September 20.
These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing projects.
The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs. Please see the attached detour maps for additional details.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Fiske Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 519)
Sunday, September 20: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Monday, September 21.
- Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) should continue south on I-95 and exit at Viera Boulevard (Exit 193), turn left onto eastbound Viera Boulevard, turn left to re-enter northbound I-95, and continue north to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195).
Monday, September 21: The on-ramp from Fiske Boulevard to southbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, September 22.
- Motorists who wish to access southbound I-95 from Fiske Boulevard may travel east on Barnes Boulevard, turn right onto southbound Murrell Road, turn right onto westbound Viera Boulevard, and proceed west to the southbound I-95 on-ramp.
Motorists who wish to access southbound I-95 from Stadium Parkway may travel east on Viera Boulevard and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Wickham Road
Tuesday, September 22: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Wickham Road (Exit 191) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, September 23.
- Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Wickham Road (Exit 191) should continue south to Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404) (Exit 188). From there, turn left onto Pineda Causeway, re-enter northbound I-95, and proceed to the Wickham Road exit (Exit 191).
Wednesday, September 23: The on-ramp from Wickham Road to southbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, September 24.
- Motorists who wish to access southbound I-95 from Wickham Road may travel east on Wickham Road and continue as it curves south to Pineda Causeway. From there, turn right onto westbound Pineda Causeway and proceed west to the southbound I-95 on-ramp.
Motorists who wish to access southbound I-95 from Wickham Road may also travel south on Lake Andrew Drive from Wickham Road west of the interchange. From there, turn left onto eastbound Pineda Causeway and proceed east to the southbound I-95 on-ramp.

Thursday, September 24: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, September 25.
- Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) should take the prior exit onto westbound Wickham Road (Exit 191). From there, use the third exit at the roundabout to turn left onto southbound Lake Andrew Drive, and continue south to Pineda Causeway.
