Traffic Advisory: Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchanges, August 30 - September 3

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement the following overnight ramp closures on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County beginning as early as Sunday, August 30.

These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing projects.

The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs. Please see the attached detour maps for additional details.

 

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Fiske Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 519)

Sunday, August 30, through Monday, August 31: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Tuesday, September 1.

• Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) should take the prior exit for Viera Boulevard (Exit 193), turn left onto westbound Viera Boulevard, turn right onto northbound Stadium Parkway, and continue north as Stadium Parkway becomes Fiske Boulevard. 

Monday, August 31: The on-ramp from Fiske Boulevard to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, September 1.

• Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Fiske Boulevard should continue north on Fiske Boulevard, turn left onto westbound West King Street, and continue west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

Wednesday, September 2: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, September 3.

• Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) should continue south on I-95 and exit at Viera Boulevard (Exit 193), turn left onto eastbound Viera Boulevard, turn left to re-enter northbound I-95, and continue north to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195).

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at West Main Street (S.R. 46)

Wednesday, September 2: The on-ramp from West Main Street to southbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, September 3.

• Motorists traveling on West Main Street who wish to access southbound I-95 should enter northbound I-95 from West Main Street and travel north to take the exit for Deering Parkway (Exit 231). From there, turn left onto westbound Deering Parkway and proceed west to access the southbound I-95 on-ramp.
