Traffic Advisory: Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchanges, August 9-14
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement the following overnight ramp closures on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County beginning as early as Sunday, August 9.
These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing projects.
The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs. Please see the attached detour maps for additional details.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Garden Street (State Road (S.R.) 406)
Sunday, August 9: The on-ramp from Garden Street to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Monday, August 10.
- Motorists traveling on Garden Street who wish to access northbound I-95 should enter southbound I-95 from Garden Street and travel south to exit at Cheney Highway (S.R. 50) (Exit 215). From there, turn left onto eastbound Cheney Highway, immediately re-enter northbound I-95, and proceed north.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at West Main Street (S.R. 46)
Tuesday, August 11: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to West Main Street (Exit 223) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, August 12.
- Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access West Main Street (Exit 223) should continue north on I-95 and exit at Deering Parkway (Exit 231). From there, turn left onto westbound Deering Parkway, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to West Main Street (Exit 223).

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Palm Bay Road
Sunday, August 9: The on-ramp from Palm Bay Road to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Monday, August 10.
- Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Palm Bay Road may travel north on Hollywood Boulevard from Palm Bay Road, turn left onto westbound U.S. 192, and proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
- Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Palm Bay Road may also travel north on Minton Road from Palm Bay Road, turn left onto westbound U.S. 192, and proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

Monday, August 10, through Tuesday, August 11: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to U.S. 192 (Exit 180) will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Wednesday morning, August 12.
· Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access U.S. 192 should continue north to Ellis Road (Exit 182). From there, turn left onto westbound Ellis Road and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp. Travel south on I-95 to U.S. 192 (Exit 180).
Wednesday, August 12, through Thursday, August 13: The on-ramp from U.S. 192 to northbound I-95 will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Friday morning, August 14.
- Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from U.S. 192 may travel north on South John Rodes Boulevard from U.S. 192, turn left onto westbound Ellis Road, and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
- Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from U.S. 192 may also travel north on St. Johns Heritage Parkway from U.S. 192 as it becomes Ellis Road and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
