COCOA, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public information open house regarding the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study for Clearlake Road (State Road (S.R.) 501) from Michigan Avenue to Industry Road on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The purpose of this study is to evaluate widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway with multimodal transportation improvements including continuous bicycle and pedestrian facilities and construction of a new roundabout while minimizing potential impacts to the natural and human environments. The open house is being held to provide the community an opportunity to learn about the study and offer feedback concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.

The in-person open house will be held at the Travis Park Community Center, 2001 Michigan Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922. Attendees will be able to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.
