Traffic Advisory: I-4 Ramp Closures at S.R. 44 to Start Dec. 16

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that nighttime Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp closures will begin as early as Monday, Dec. 16, at the State Road (S.R.) 44 interchange. The closures are needed for striping operations. Please see the anticipated schedule from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) below:
- The eastbound and westbound I-4 off ramps to eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118A) will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Detour information:
- Motorists traveling east and west on I-4 wishing to access eastbound S.R. 44 should exit onto westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118B) and then U-turn at S.R. 44A/County Road (C.R.) 4139.
- The eastbound and westbound I-4 off ramps to westbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118B) will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Detour information:
- Motorists traveling east and west on I-4 wishing to access westbound S.R. 44 should exit onto eastbound S.R. 44 (Exit 118A) and then U-turn at North Prevatt Avenue.
