992600-7 U.S. 1 from Palmetto Street to Pine Street

The project at the intersection of U.S. 1 northbound and southbound Between Palmetto Street and Pine Street in Titusville is designed to improve overall safety and traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a pedestrian crossing will be installed and the actual improvement is a flashing-beacon crossing at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations, the project includes the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon. Additional improvements will include a speed feedback sign and upgraded intersection lighting to improve visibility and safety within the pedestrian crossing in that area.
