The project located at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 406 (Garden Street) at Christian Court is designed to improve overall safety and traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department concluded that safety improvements are needed to prevent serious crashes. The plan proposes converting the existing open median to a bi-directional median that restricts left turn onto Garden Street from Christian Court.
The work will be performed using the FDOT's Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program.
