The Florida Department of Transportation is making median modifications at the intersection of U.S. 1 at Godfrey Road to include a bi-directional median and U-turn. These modifications will improve safety and efficiency.

Lane Closures

Please be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation will implement nightly closures of the northbound and southbound inside lanes of U.S. 1 at Godfrey Road in Edgewater.
Closures are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, October 5, through Thursday, October 8. The closures are needed for turn lane and drainage improvements.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, October 9.
Motorists should use caution and expect delays while traveling through the work zone. The construction schedule may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
