The project at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 33 at County Road (C.R.) 474 in Lake County is intended to enhance overall safety and improve traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new traffic signal is warranted at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the project includes the installation of a New Signal with no pedestrian signals. Additional improvements involve the installation of RISA lighting within the intersection area to support the new infrastructure.
