The project at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) A1A and 11th Avenue in Brevard County is intended to enhance overall safety and improve traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new crosswalk with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) is warranted at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the project includes the installation of a new crosswalk with RRFBs and ADA-compliant curb ramps. RISA lighting will also be installed to improve nighttime visibility and enhance safety within the intersection area.
