About
A traffic services study conducted by the Department has determined that a new crosswalk is warranted near the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 426 and the existing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) west of Tangerine Avenue in Orange County.
To improve pedestrian safety and operations at this location, the existing RRFB crosswalk will be retrofitted into an overhead Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) crosswalk with Leading Driver Alert Radar (LDAR) enhancements. These improvements are being designed and constructed under the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program.
