The project at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) A1A at 11th Avenue in Volusia County is intended to enhance overall safety and improve traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new crosswalk with RRFBs is warranted at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the project includes upgrading the ramps, and enhancing intersection lighting design RISA to improve visibility and nighttime safety.
