The project at the intersection of U.S. 17/92 and School Street in Seminole County is intended to enhance overall safety and improve traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new traffic signal is warranted at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the scope of work includes the installation of a new traffic signal supported by a strain pole.
