The project at the intersection of SR 19 at CR 455 in Howey Hills. The Department aims to enhance overall safety and traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new traffic signal is warranted. As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the work includes installing a traffic signal with new mast arms, box span  with no pedestrian signals, marked crosswalks, and upgraded intersection lighting. Additional improvements involve sidewalk and curb ramp construction, along with minor resurfacing within the intersection area.
