The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is proposing safety improvements at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 436 (Semoran Boulevard) and Cassel Creek Boulevard. Based on a Qualitative Assessment performed at this location in January 2019, it was recommended that the directional median opening be closed.

This will remove the left turn lanes into Cassel Creek Boulevard and Lake Howell Arms. Traffic exiting those roadways will still be able to turn right onto Semoran Boulevard. This modification improves safety in the area by reducing the number of conflict points at this location.
