About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is enhancing safety on the loop ramp from eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 to eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) in Orlando. The work includes installing a new barrier wall, milling and resurfacing the roadway, adding pavement markings, and installing speed feedback signage to remind drivers to reduce speed while navigating the ramp.
Additional safety upgrades include applying High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) and enhancing chevron signs to improve visibility.

Sunday, February 16, and Wednesday, February 18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of the eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 4 (I‑4) at Exit 10B. These closures are necessary for concrete work.
Detour Information:
Motorists traveling eastbound on S.R. 408 who wish to access eastbound I‑4 will be directed to take Exit 10A toward westbound I‑4, continue to Exit 81 (Michigan Street), turn left onto West Michigan Street, and follow posted signage to access eastbound I‑4.
FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.
