Project Details
About
The purpose of this project is to perform routine bridge work to Interstate 4 (I-4) bridges from Orange Boulevard in Seminole County to Saxon Boulevard in Volusia County. Planned bridge work includes approach slab resurfacing to smooth the transition onto the bridges at I-4 over Orange Boulevard, deck repairs at I-4 over Dirksen Drive, and concrete sealing at Saxon Boulevard over I-4.

Lane Closures

Please see the anticipated lane closure schedule from FDOT beginning Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. below:
Saturday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 7, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound Saxon Boulevard bridge over I-4: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Sunday, Dec. 7 to Monday, Dec. 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound Saxon Boulevard over I-4: Lane closures will occur in the inside lane.
Monday, Dec. 8 to Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound I-4 bridge over Dirksen Drive: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Tuesday, Dec. 9 to Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Westbound I-4 bridge over Dirksen Drive: Lane closures will start in the far-right lane, then switch to the inside lane.
Wednesday, Dec. 10 to Thursday, Dec. 11, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Thursday, Dec. 11 to Friday, Dec. 12, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will start in the far-right lane, then switch to the inside lane.
Friday, Dec. 12 to Saturday, Dec. 13, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
This work is being conducted as part of the I-4 Bridge Rehabilitation project to smooth bridge approaches. The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
