This project proposes to add a new left turn lane from westbound State Road (S.R.) 46 to Richmond Avenue east of Sanford in Seminole County. The project resulted from an intersection safety analysis and is meant to help reduce the potential for serious crashes and injuries. 

Work will include slight widening to the south to accommodate the new turn lane. No additional right of way is needed.
