The purpose of this project is to maintain a safe and reliable driving surface by repaving this segment of North Orange Avenue (State Road (S.R.) 527) from north of Rollins Avenue to Clay Avenue. Work will also include upgrades to pedestrian curb ramps as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

The construction start for the project was pushed back to Early 2029.
