About
This project will update the mechanical and electrical components of the State Road (S.R.) 3 (Courtenay Parkway) bascule bridges in Merritt Island, commonly known as the Christa McAuliffe Drawbridge. Improvements include a new control system, replaced submarine cables, new movable bridge machinery, and new traffic gates.
