About
The Florida Department of Transportation plans to rebuild the traffic signal at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 527 (Orange Avenue) at Lancaster Avenue in the City of Orlando. In addition to reconstructing and upgrading the traffic signals, the project plans to add a fourth crosswalk at the intersection, provide pedestrian signals and reconstruct pedestrian curb ramps to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Another safety enhancement is adding "No Right Turn" blank out signs that will be activated during pedestrian crossing phases.
