450264-1 S.R. 401 over Barge Canal Bridge Rehabilitation

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) painted and rehabilitated the State Road (S.R.) 401 movable bridges at Port Canaveral. In addition to painting, the three bridges received structural steel improvements, bridge deck improvements, and new span lock assemblies. A span lock assembly is a mechanical system that typically holds a movable bridge span in place when fully closed.
