The purpose of the project is to improve sidewalk connectivity along State Road (S.R.) A1A from Volunteer Way to Roosevelt Avenue. The project proposes to construct new 6-foot-wide sidewalk to fill gaps along both sides of S.R. A1A. Necessary drainage improvements are included.

Together with project 447150-1, this project will help to enhance pedestrian connectivity and mobility along S.R. A1A from S.R. 518 to the Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404).
