The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will mill and resurface approximately 3.7 miles of U.S. 27 (State Road (S.R.) 25) from north of Lake Louisa Road to north of Cluster Oak Drive in Clermont to improve the life of the existing roadway.

Travel lanes will be re-striped to accommodate 7-foot-wide buffered bicycle lanes on both sides of the road. Pedestrian enhancements include upgrading pedestrian curb ramps to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and constructing sidewalk along the southwest corner of Brogden Drive.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, February 25, through Saturday, March 2, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect nighttime southbound lane closures on U.S. 27 within the project limits for milling and paving operations. Please slowly approach the construction zone, alertly merge into an open lane and proceed cautiously through the work area.
