About

The purpose of this project is to build a new designated truck parking facility near Interstate 4 (I-4) in Osceola County. The proposed facility is located about 3.87 miles east of the I-4 interchange with County Road (C.R.) 532. The planned facility would be bordered by the new Poinciana Parkway Extension, which is currently in design, Osceola Polk Line Road and U.S. 17-92.

The plan calls for a facility that would provide approximately 230 truck parking spaces, along with other amenities to help serve regional freight parking demand and enhance safety and mobility.

The site is one of five locations identified through the Truck and Freight Alternative Site Analysis Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study (FPID No.: 447724-1). The other four sites are being designed under the following project numbers: Seminole County 446445-1; Volusia County eastbound 446445-2; Volusia County westbound 446445-4; and Orange County 446445-3.
