About
The purpose of this project is to build a new designated truck parking facility near Interstate 4 (I-4) in Osceola County. The planned facility would be bordered by the new Poinciana Parkway Extension, which is currently in design, Osceola Polk Line Road, and U.S. 17-92. The Osceola County site would provide 167 initial spaces with future expansion to 251 spaces and amenities to help serve regional freight parking demand and enhance safety.
The site is one of five locations identified through the Truck and Freight Alternative Site Analysis Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study (FPID No.: 447724-1). The other four sites are being designed under the following project numbers: Seminole County 446445-1; Volusia County eastbound 446445-2; Volusia County westbound 446445-4; and Orange County 446445-3.
