About

The purpose of this project is to install wrong-way driving countermeasures on off-ramps at the following Interstate 4 interchanges: Central Florida Parkway (Exit 71), Sand Lake Road (State Road 482) (Exit 74A), Lake Mary Boulevard (Exit 98), County Road 46A (Exit 101A), S.R. 46 (Exit 101B), Orange Boulevard/U.S. 17-92 (Exit 104), Dirksen Drive (Exit 108), and Saxon Boulevard (Exit 111A/B).

Countermeasures include additional signing and pavement markings, flashing beacons, and installing connections to the regional traffic management center (RTMC) communications system to help alert emergency responders.
