The purpose of the project is to provide crash reduction countermeasures by introducing a roundabout at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 527, Clay Ave, and North Orange Avenue. This safety project also includes a lane reduction, addition of bicycle lanes, and signal reconstruction on S.R. 527 from Clay Avenue to South Orlando Avenue (U.S. 17/92).  This project is located within the City of Orlando, just north of the City of Orlando downtown core and within the Orlando Urban Area boundary.
