The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing State Road (S.R.) 528/S.R. A1A from U.S. 1 to S.R. 3. Concrete repairs, safety enhancements and deck sealing are included for the bridges over the Indian River and Banana River. The project also calls for installing median guardrail throughout the project, upgrading existing guardrail, closing unauthorized median crossovers, upgrading approved crossovers, and drainage improvements. The project will include ramps at the U.S. 1 and S.R. 3 interchanges and will require ramp closures and detours during construction.
