This project consists of an innovative pedestrian and bicycle collision avoidance system that utilizes connected vehicle (CV) technologies to reduce the occurrence of crashes at high crash rate locations. The work will also implement a program designed to increase throughput capacity and reduce congestion by optimizing traffic signal operations.
