The goal of this project is to increase pedestrian safety at specific signalized intersections by installing street lighting that offers better visibility. Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures will be installed at each intersection, and any existing fixtures will be upgraded to LED. No other intersection improvements are expected in this project. This project improves signalized intersections along Kirkman Road (State Road (S.R.) 435) at the following locations:

1. Kirkman Road at Carrier Drive

2. Kirkman Road at International Drive

3. Kirkman Road at Major Boulevard

4. Kirkman Road at Vineland Road

5. Kirkman Road at Conroy Road

6. Kirkman Road at L. B. McLeod Road

7. Kirkman Road at Arnold Palmer Drive

8. Kirkman Road at Metrowest Boulevard

9. Kirkman Road at Sterling Crest Drive/Metropolis Way

10.  Kirkman Road at Valencia Community College Drive

11.  Kirkman Road at Raleigh Street

12.  Kirkman Road at Westgate Drive

13.  Kirkman Road at Old Winter Garden Road

14.  Kirkman Road at Washington Street

15.  Kirkman Road at the S.R. 408 eastbound and westbound ramps

FDOT has completed the design phase of this project. Local utility companies are completing the required work.
