About
The St. Johns River to Sea (SJR2C) Loop Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study is being conducted to develop and evaluate options for a multi-use trail from U.S. 1 at Kennedy Parkway in unincorporated Volusia County to Dale Avenue in the City of Edgewater, a distance of approximately 13 miles. The PD&E study started in May 2017 and is anticipated to last approximately one year.

The objective of this study is to identify a route where a 12-foot, multi-use trail option can connect from the planned trail along US 1 to Dale Street in the City of Edgewater. This project is part of a greater effort to close the gaps and complete the St. Johns River to Sea Loop.

More information about the study is available in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) in the project files below.  Please check this website regularly. In addition to the current Project Files, all project documents, meeting announcements and other important information will be uploaded to this page.
