Corridor Planning Study State Road (S.R.)19 (N. Central Avenue) from County Road (C.R.) 450-A to Bulldog Way / Olde Millstream RV Park. This study is for the purpose of providing the necessary technical analysis, and public and agency input, to identify both short and long-term strategies that include, but are not limited to: the identification of Complete Streets design components;  transportation systems management and operations (TSM&O) solutions; multi-modal enhancements, including bicycle and pedestrian and/or transit features; capacity improvements; and, generally define the future vision of the corridor.

The project will employ Principles of Healthy Community Design during the creation and evaluation of potential alternatives as a means of encouraging active transportation solutions and encouraging physical activity in the community. The work included in this study shall reflect the project purpose, need and scope described in the S.R. 19 Umatilla Complete Streets Project Information Application (submitted by the city to FDOT through the MPO process on March 3, 2016), providing the basis for the project's purpose and need, mode choice, a description of the environmental setting and community characteristics.
