The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is designing plans to widen State Road (S.R.) 535 from U.S. 192 to north of World Center Drive (S.R. 536), a project length of approximately 2.35 miles within Orange and Osceola counties. The purpose of the project is to reduce congestion and improve safety by adding a lane in each direction and constructing intersection improvements within the corridor.

Improvements follow the recommendations of a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study that was completed in 2025.
