This project includes widening and reconstruction of State Road (S.R.) 528 (S.R. A1A/Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway/Astronaut Boulevard) from four to six lanes from east of S.R. 524 (Industry Road) to east of S.R. 3 (North Courtenay Parkway). The project includes reconstructing the interchanges at U.S. 1 and S.R. 3 and reconstructing the bridge over the Indian River.  A shared-use trail is also planned on the north side of S.R. 528. 

The right of way phase began in late 2023. Any property owner that is impacted will be contacted directly by the FDOT.  The project is not yet funded for construction.
