This project involves Interstate 4 (I-4) from east of State Road (S.R.) 434 to U.S. 17-92 (Seminole/Volusia County line). The project plans to reconstruct this segment of I-4 to accommodate three general use lanes, auxiliary lanes, and two special use lanes in the eastbound and westbound directions.

This project also involves reconstruction of all existing interchanges and replacement of overpasses. This project is a segment of I-4 Ultimate extensions (Beyond I-4 Ultimate) known as Segment 3.
