This project consists of widening State Road (S.R.) 507 (locally known as Babcock Street) from the existing 4 lanes to 6 lanes from north of Malabar Road to Palm Bay Road. The project also consists of northbound S.R. 507 (Babcock Street) Bridge Replacement and southbound S.R. 507 (Babcock Street) Bridge widening over the Melbourne-Tillman Canal.

Public information meetings were held on July 18, 2017. The purpose of the meeting was to present information to the public and to obtain comments about the proposed widening alternatives. This project is not currently funded for right of way or construction.
