Traffic Advisory: Overnight Closures of Southbound I-95 Off-Ramp to U.S. 1 Starting July 14
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight closures of the southbound Interstate 95 (I-95) off-ramp to U.S. 1 (Exit 273) Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16 and Sunday, July 19 through Monday, July 20.
The closures will begin as early as 9 p.m. each night and are expected to end at 7 a.m. the following morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Tuesday, July 21. This will allow crews to demolish the existing median and complete paving operations.
Detour information: Motorists heading southbound on I-95 wishing to reach U.S. 1 should take Exit 278 to access Old Dixie Highway and keep right to travel west on Old Dixie Highway. Continue west on Old Dixie Highway for approximately 2.3 miles. At the roundabout, take the third exit to access southbound U.S. 1. Continue south on U.S. 1 for approximately 6.3 miles to reach the I-95 interchange.
Detour signage will be posted. The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. Motorists should maintain a safe speed and avoid distractions.
