BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight ramp closures at the Interstate 95 (I-95) interchanges at Pineda Causeway (State Road (S.R.) 404) (Exit 188) and Eau Gallie Boulevard (S.R. 518) (Exit 183) beginning as early as Monday, April 6, through Thursday, April 9. The final ramp is scheduled to reopen Friday morning, April 10.

These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing project in Brevard County.

Monday, April 6: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, April 7.

  • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) should continue north and take the exit for Wickham Road (Exit 191). From there, turn left onto westbound Wickham Road, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to the Pineda Causeway exit (Exit 188).

Tuesday, April 7, to Wednesday, April 8: The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Pineda Causeway will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Thursday morning, April 9.

  • Motorists traveling eastbound on Pineda Causeway who wish to access northbound I-95 should continue east and turn left onto northbound Wickham Road. From there, continue on Wickham Road as it veers westbound, then proceed west to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
  • Motorists traveling westbound on Pineda Causeway who wish to access northbound I-95 should continue west and turn right onto northbound Lake Andrew Drive. From there, continue north and turn right onto eastbound Wickham Road, then proceed east to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

Thursday, April 9: The southbound I-95 off-ramp to Eau Gallie Boulevard (Exit 183) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, April 10.

  • Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access Eau Gallie Boulevard (Exit 183) should continue south on I-95 and exit at Ellis Road (Exit 182). Motorists may then turn left onto eastbound Ellis Road, turn right to re-enter northbound I-95, and proceed to the exit for Eau Gallie Boulevard (Exit 183).
