Traffic Advisory: Overnight Full Closures of Sand Lake Road Under I-4 January 17-21
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of all lanes of Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) under Interstate 4 (I-4), from Saturday, January 17, through Wednesday, January 21. During this time, left-turn movements from Sand Lake Road to the I-4 entrance ramps will also be restricted and motorists exiting I-4 at Sand Lake Road will be limited to right turns only.
The closures will begin as early as 1:30 a.m. each night and are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. the same morning. These closures are necessary for bridge beam setting over Sand Lake Road as part of the improvements to the I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange.
*NOTE: If this work is not completed by 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, January 21, then Thursday, January 22, and Friday, January 23, will be used as backup dates.
