PALM BAY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be implementing overnight ramp closures at the Interstate 95 (I-95) and Palm Bay Road interchange (Exit 176) in Palm Bay, beginning as early as Monday night, December 8, through Thursday night, December 11, with the final ramp reopening on the morning of Friday December 12.

On Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9, the northbound I-95 off-ramp to Palm Bay Road (Exit 176) will be closed from 9 p.m. each night through 5 a.m. the next morning. 

·         Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Palm Bay Road should continue north and exit at U.S. 192 (Exit 180). Motorists should then re-enter I-95 heading southbound and continue south to Palm Bay Road (Exit 176).

On Wednesday, December 10, and Thursday, December 11, the I-95 entrance ramp from Palm Bay Road will be closed from 9 p.m. each night through 5 a.m. the next morning. 

·         Motorists traveling eastbound on Palm Bay Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should continue east to Hollywood Boulevard, turn left, and travel north to U.S. 192. From there, turn left onto U.S. 192 and continue west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

·         Motorists traveling westbound on Palm Bay Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should continue west to Minton Road, turn right, and travel north to U.S. 192. From there, turn left onto U.S. 192 and continue west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

These closures, which are necessary for paving operations, are the second in a series of planned ramp closures for the I-95 resurfacing project in Brevard County.
