SunRail’s ‘Winter Express’ on new late-night trains makes it fun & easy to attend seasonal events
ORLANDO, Fla. — SunRail invites everyone in Central Florida to explore the season by rail on its “Winter Express” to launch extended weekday service with new late-night trains.
Beginning December 1, 2025, commuters and leisure riders will enjoy extended evening travel options and improved schedule flexibility. With two new late train times added to the schedule, SunRail brings more convenience, access, and festive fun to riders.
To help riders explore ideas, an event guide has been created at www.SunRail.com with a listing of local events near stations. Riders can look forward to everything from tree lightings and shows to special events and big team match ups, and there may even be an extra surprise or two along the way.
With many last mile connection services such as Seminole County’s new Scout on-demand rideshare, VoRide, Ride DTO, Freebie, LYNX, and Votran, leaving the car at home has never been easier or more fun.
SunRail encourages families, eventgoers, and winter explorers to hop on board and make the train part of their seasonal tradition.
