Traffic Advisory: Eastbound I-4 Exit Ramp to Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A) to Close Overnight September 22
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) exit ramp to Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) at Exit 74A will be closed overnight on Monday, September 22, for a traffic shift.
The ramp closure is scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. Monday night and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, September 23.
NOTE: If crews are unable to complete this work on the night of September 22, the closure and work will occur on the night of September 23, and reopen on the morning of Wednesday, September 24. If crews are unable to complete this work on the backup night of September 23, this same closure will occur on the night of Monday, September 29, and reopen on the morning of Tuesday, September 30.
During the ramp closure, motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access Sand Lake Road (Exit 74A) will continue east and take Exit 75A at Universal Boulevard. Drivers will then turn right onto southbound Universal Boulevard and proceed to Sand Lake Road.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
