MAITLAND, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists of a partial closure of the Lake Avenue railroad crossing in Maitland. This alternating single lane closure is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, and continue through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, so that SunRail railroad crossing improvements can be made.

During the railroad crossing work, motorists should expect alternating single lane closures with flaggers directing vehicles through the crossing. Drivers should remain alert in the area and expect delays. Pedestrian access will not be impacted.

The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
