EUSTIS, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close northbound State Road (S.R.) 19 (South Grove Street) in Eustis: from Citrus Avenue to East Orange Avenue on Monday, June 23, and from East Orange Avenue to East Magnolia Avenue on Tuesday, June 24. The overnight closures are required to install traffic signal strain poles just south and just north of East Orange Avenue with minimal disruption to daytime travel.

The northbound road closure will begin as early as 8 p.m. each night and is scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning.

Detour information:

Monday, June 23

  • Motorists wishing to continue north on S.R. 19 should turn left on South Eustis Street, right on East Orange Avenue to return to northbound S.R. 19.

Tuesday, June 24

  • Motorists wishing to continue north on S.R. 19 should turn right on East Orange Avenue, left on North Center Street, left on East Clifford Avenue to return to northbound S.R. 19.
  • The truck detour route will include a right turn on East Orange Avenue, a left on Deland Road (County (C.R.) Road 44), left on Burlington Avenue (C.R. 44) to return to northbound S.R. 19.
