WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists of nightly lane closures on East Fairbanks Avenue (State Road 426) in Winter Park. These closures are scheduled for Sunday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 24, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. so that SunRail railroad crossing improvements can be made.     

These alternating lane closures on Fairbanks Avenue will occur between Pennsylvania Avenue and New York Avenue with crews keeping one lane open in each direction. Pedestrian access to sidewalks and crossings will not be impacted.

The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Drivers should remain alert in the work zone and should expect delays during these nightly lane closures.
