Open House for U.S. 17-92 Improvements to be held March 13
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans to repave U.S. 17-92 from the St. Johns River Bridge in DeBary to Wisconsin Avenue in Orange City. The community is invited to learn more at a project open house on Thursday, March 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The project is being designed in two parts. The first segment to be repaved is from the St. Johns River Bridge to north of Saxon Boulevard (Financial Project Identification (FPID) No.: 450973-1). The second segment begins just north of Saxon Boulevard and ends at Wisconsin Avenue (FPID No.: 450991-1). The purpose of the projects is to maintain a safe and reliable roadway surface. The projects will also upgrade sidewalk curb ramps as needed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The in-person open house will be held at Gateway Center for the Arts, 880 N. U.S. Highway 17-92, DeBary, FL 32713. Attendees will be able to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.
