Traffic Advisory: I-75 Rest Area to Close in Marion County
MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The southbound Interstate 75 (I-75) rest area located near mile marker 346 in Marion County will be closed to the public from 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, to 6 a.m. Thursday, September 12, to resurface the rest area’s entrance and exit ramps.
These improvements are part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) 14-mile resurfacing project on I-75 from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. Alternate rest stops are located 37 miles north of the closed facility near mile marker 382 in Alachua County and 39 miles south near mile marker 307 in Sumter County.
