OCALA, Fla. – Motorists are advised of upcoming nightly ramp closures along Interstate 75 (I-75) in Ocala at the U.S. 27 and State Road (S.R.) 40 interchanges between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from March 17 through March 28. These closures will allow for maintenance repairs to these interchange ramps.

Workers will be starting with the U.S. 27 interchange before moving down to the S.R. 40 interchange. Only one ramp will be closed at a time.

The following ramps will experience closures during this time frame:

• Southbound I-75 off ramp to U.S. 27
• U.S. 27 on ramp to southbound I-75
• All four ramps at the S.R. 40 interchange

For a detour, motorists are advised to observe the posted message board signs and, depending on their desired destination, use the previous or following interchange.

FDOT urges motorists to use caution, slow down, avoid distractions, and follow posted signage while approaching the work zones.
